Macadamia and Coconut Cream Ice Cream
This is a recipe for the Banters out there too. I got a recipe for a chocolate ice cream and I made a bit of a flop. I used a small tin of coconut cream in stead of a large one. The rest of the ingredients I put the stated amounts in. It was a very delicious flop though. It had the taste of 85% chocolate. I used honey in stead of Xylitol- I am not very fond of Xylitol. Honey is on the orange list for Banters.
1 Large tin coconut cream
3 T Macadamia Nut butter
2 T raw honey
A handful of chopped nuts of your choice - I used mixed nuts.
Mix it all together with a beater or a stick blender.
Place in the deep freeze.
Stir it up every 20 minutes or so, or else you will have a solidly frozen block at the end and you will have to chip away with a hammer and chisel to get to the goodness. (I do actually learn from my mistakes.) :)
